What Customers Say About RCA VH48 Splitters (3-way):

Everything attached is a digital two-way cable device--two set top boxes, cable modem--and they all work well.dBs and SNR (signal strength and quality) went up after replacing the cable provider's splitter--and I went from two to three outputs. For the price, you can't beat it. What can I say. One cable enters, three cables leave.

It works without a problems and I have not noticed any reduction of the signal. I am using the splitter with a Hauppauge 1600 card to split my cable signal to analog and digital as well as connect to the TV.

They only down side is that when I screwed in the coaxial cable it's not as tight and snug as before. The picture quality is just as good as that from the original Comcast 2-way splitter. All in all, I can't complain too much. Great splitter. I split my cable into 3 rooms, each with a TV.

All in all, can't really complain much about a $2 item. -7db splitter ports I've seen in other brands, so just keep that in mind if you have a "favorite" destination out of the three. Does what it's supposed to. My local cable company's splitters go up to 1000mHz (1gHz) and probably do a better job in the actual range that's used (usually under 900mHz I believe). I've noticed the left port has the best signal strength and they're not labeled differently like -3.5db vs.

I have had to use it as a 2 way splitter, and that seems to work OK. Great price for a splitter, but when I used an unpowered antenna as the source the signal was too weak to split 3 ways.
